From tastefully decorated bedrooms and delicious home cooked meals to the jewel in our crown, our stunning countryside setting – you’ll have plenty of opportunity sit back, relax and take in the view.

Prior to admission, our Home Manager will be delighted to take the time to meet with you and your family, to discuss your needs and requirements, and tell you more about life at Dounemount. We know that deciding to move to a care home is a big decision and our aim is to make this transition as easy as we can.

The say variety is the spice of life… and at Dounemount, there’s plenty of social events, entertainment and activities to ensure there is always something interesting and stimulating going on. From dancing, flower arranging and arts and crafts to pet therapy, reminiscence sessions and quizzes, the list is endless. Plus, our Activities Co-ordinator will support you with any hobbies you would like to pursue, or trips out for shopping or culture.
