RESIDENTIAL CARE

Dounemount offers a comfortable and safe environment for residents to enjoy consistent care with the benefits of group living and independence.

For those who may find it difficult to manage or look after themselves at home, we provide support and security to while encouraging residents to live an independent life . We are happy to offer as much or as little assistance as they require.

DEMENTIA CARE

At Dounemount, our team is fully trained to understand and deal with all aspects of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and we take pride in providing the highest levels of care and respect for every individual.

We offer a range of activities and alternative therapies that are designed to help people with memory impairment and our open visiting hours mean that residents’ families are welcome at any time.

NURSING CARE

At Dounemount, we provide 24-hour nursing care for our residents. Our home manager is supported by registered general nurses, carers and care assistants. Nursing care is delivered using a method known as key nursing where each resident is allocated a nurse who will soon become a familiar face and will answer any queries you or your relatives may have.

RESPITE CARE

Whether you care for a loved one or need a break yourself, you can relax knowing that a safe, welcoming and supportive place is here at Dounemount House. We can provide respite care from anything from a week to a few months, whether your respite is planned or an emergency we can assist.
